?Margie grew up on an Iowa farm and at the age of 17 took up residency in Colorado. Her first job out of high school was in a restaurant in a touristy Colorado mountain town. Margie's second job was with Mountain Bell as a long distance operator. Mountain Bell moved forward with new technology and closed many of the offices. Margie then started a career in law enforcement in 1977 and retiring in 2013. Margie is employed part time at United Way of Weld County as the special projects manager and works at her 20 year career in real estate the rest of her time. Margie is the past President of many organizations including Kiwanis Club of Greeley. Margie earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2008. She has a son who is an attorney in a Denver law firm. She enjoys participating in 5K's and spending time with her blue heeler/Australian shepherd mix dog "Lizzie" in her spare time.
